Issue details

To approve the commencement of work on project delivery of the York Outer Ring Road (YORR) Roundabouts Phase 1 – Wetherby Road project and to give approval to the total project value of £3.600 million to be funded from the West Yorkshire Plus Transport Fund, and to the Combined Authority entering into a Funding Agreement with the City of York Council for a total of up to £3.600 million.

To enable improvements to be made to the roundabout at the junction of the A1237 and B1224 Wetherby Road which will be delivered as Phase 1 of the overall YORR strategy which would develop junction improvements at 7 existing Outer Ring Road roundabouts to improve and reduce journey times on this heavily congested route.
