Approval for the scheme to proceed through
decision points 2 to 4 (business justification) to upgrade a 1.2km
section of the Leeds & Liverpool Canal towpath.

The Chief Executive approves that (subject to conditions):
i. The Silsden to Kildwick Canal Towpath scheme proceeds through decision point 2 to 4 (business justification) and work commences on activity 5 (delivery).
ii. Approves the Combined Authority’s contribution of £1,053,429. The total scheme value is £2,027,885.
iii. Approves that the Combined Authority enters into an addendum to the existing Funding Agreement with City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council for expenditure of up to £1,053,429
iv. Approves that future approvals are made in accordance with the assurance pathway and approval route and tolerances outlined in this report. This will be subject to the scheme remaining within the tolerances outlined in this report.
