Purpose:

Change Request

Decision:

To approve that:

·       The change request to the Corridor Improvement Programme – Fink Hill project to increase development funds by £400,000 and to extend the programme timescale by 3 months is approved.

The Combined Authority enters into an addendum to the existing funding agreement with Leeds City Council to increase development funding of up to £919,000 from the West Yorkshire plus Transport Fund. This will require a release of £400,000 from this change request from the risk and contingency budget.

Reasons for the decision:

To enable development work, including the production of an Environmental Impact Assessment, to continue on the Fink Hill scheme which will deliver improvements to pedestrian and cyclist safety, reduced severance between communities and jobs, increased journey time reliability, and reduced traffic congestion and delays at a key junction on the A6120 Leeds Outer Ring Road.
