To enable commencement of the Headrow Gateway
scheme which will deliver a series of bus infrastructure, public
realm, pedestrian and cycling infrastructure improvements, to
enhance this major gateway to Leeds city centre.
To approve that:
• The LPTIP Headrow Gateway project proceeds through decision
point 5 and work commences on activity 6 (Delivery).
• Approval to the Combined Authority’s contribution of
£22.456 million to be funded from the Leeds Public Transport
Investment Programme (LPTIP), is given. The total project value is
£22.756 million.
• The Combined Authority enters into a variation of the
existing LPTIP Funding Agreement with Leeds City Council for
expenditure of up to £22.456 million from the LPTIP
fund.
