To enable delivery of an updated Transport
Model for Kirklees to plan for a range of major new transport
improvements in the area. The model suite will incorporate variable
demand, highways model and public transport models to support the
development, appraisal, delivery and evaluation of Kirklees’
West Yorkshire plus Transport Fund schemes.
• To approve that the Kirklees Transport
Model Update project proceeds through decision point 5 of the
Combined Authority’s assurance process and work commences on
activity 6 (delivery).
• To give approval to the Combined Authority’s
contribution of £167,000, to be funded from the West
Yorkshire plus Transport Fund, towards a total project value of
£334,000 with the remaining £167,000 will be funded by
Kirklees Council.
• To approve that the Combined Authority enters into a funding
agreement with Kirklees Council for expenditure of up to
£167,000 from the West Yorkshire plus Transport Fund.
