Bradford to Shipley Corridor

The Bradford to Shipley Corridor Improvement project consists of a number of proposals which together provide improved and more reliable journey times along two key corridors of the Bradford District.
This scheme is currently progressing through the Combined Authority’s assurance process. The timescales for this scheme wish to be revised for OBC submission until March 2019, from 2015/16. It is anticipated that this project can allow for phased delivery.

This scheme also seeks to approve funding for the acquisition of the former Branch Pub in advance of WY+TF Land Acquisition funding, and approve demolition funding, which will be carried out in 18/19 (demolition works will commence in 2019/20) both costing £450,000. Further development funding of £806,500 is required for approval for this scheme to proceed through the assurance process.
