To enable work to commence on the scheme to
deliver improvements for cycling, walking and public transport in
and around the core of Bradford city centre:
Phase 1 of the TCF Bradford City Centre Cycling and Walking
Improvements scheme proceeds through decision point 4 (full
business case) and work commences on activity 5 (delivery).
Subject to the conditions set by the Programme Appraisal Team,
Phase 2 of the TCF Bradford City Centre Cycling and Walking
Improvements scheme proceeds through decision point 4 (full
business case) and work commences on activity 5 (delivery).
Approval of Phase 1 funding of £17,631,371 taking the total
scheme approval to £23,524,371. Subject to the conditions set
by the Programme Appraisal Team, the remaining phase 2 funding of
£19,641,629 will be approved at Approval to Proceed. The
Combined Authority’s contribution is £43,166,000. The
total scheme value is £43,266,000.
The Combined Authority enters into an addendum to the existing
Funding Agreement with the City of Bradford Metropolitan District
Council for expenditure of up to £23,524,371
